About Something Called Love

"From pre-Islamic literature to the present, writing has explored pride, satire, praise, mourning, love and wine. The space given to each theme has expanded or contracted with its age and circumstances. Love poetry alone has kept its place, for a person's heart remains a faithful companion.

These pages are simply a conversation of the heart. I have written a little about others: writers sometimes need to escape the prison of the self: but much more about my own experiences.

Lovers, do not seek victory in love. There is no single winner: lovers either win together or lose together."
