In the Footsteps of the Messenger peace be upon him

"This is for the day revelation came, when I was not there to hold you as you trembled. For the day in Taif, when I was not there to shield you from stones with my own chest. For the day Khadijah died, when I was not there to wipe away your tears and say I would give myself for you.

For the day of Uhud, when you wiped blood from your noble face and I was not there to protect you from that blow. For the poisoned shoulder of lamb, when I was not there to eat it in your place.

This is because I believed in you without seeing you, trusted you without hearing you, and loved you without ever setting eyes on you. May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah peace be upon him."
