Urgent, Confidential and Personal

One of the Quran's continuing wonders is its ability to reach our inner lives, hidden pain and unspoken fears. It holds up a mirror to truths we may avoid because confronting them is difficult.

Awareness and confrontation can be a first step towards change. The reflections in this book grew from encounters with that Quranic mirror, its passages, suggestions and insights.

The author does not claim to offer an absolute cure or final truth, but shares thoughts from a Muslim engaging with contemporary life. In that sense, these messages are urgent, confidential and personal.
